The problem
A clean-energy startup needed to identify viable sites for river-based renewable infrastructure across the globe. The data existed in dozens of fragmented public sources — none of them connected, and none of them user-friendly for site investigation.

A structured Excel tool allowing staff to review, edit and tag data that is maintained manually outside the core system — feeding directly back into Power BI reporting without manual re-entry.

The problem
A supported housing provider needed a far better understanding of occupancy patterns, tenancy behaviour and costs across a portfolio of different property types. Their data lived across a property management system (Arthur Online), lease records and manually maintained spreadsheets — none of which talked to each other.

Management Finance Reporting & Analytics
The problem
The finance team had been manually downloading and stitching data from their finance system and service delivery system every month. They then applied unique business rules to produce management reports using large, complex Excel files — a time-consuming process that was highly susceptible to human error. Quarterly reports were the norm.

As easy to use as a pivot table but built on a far richer, more reliable dataset — no complex VLOOKUP formulas required. Finance team can slice data freely without risk of breaking anything.

A technology client had an app that tracked software installed across their organisation, but no way to turn that data into useful insight. They needed an immediate, clear overview of their full software estate — costs, security vulnerabilities, lifecycle status and outstanding JIRA assessment tickets — to inform procurement and risk decisions.

Staff Leave Management Interface
Leave accrual was more complex than the payroll system's built-in leave module could handle — it needed to calculate based on hours worked, apply client-specific rules, and flag staff who were accruing excess leave before it became a liability. Managers had no visibility without running manual queries.

Integrated Analytics for a SaaS Survey Platform
A start-up had built an app that helps companies run staff satisfaction surveys — but their platform had no analytics layer. Survey responses were going in; insight wasn't coming out. They needed an integrated analytics component that could live inside their product, allowing companies to see trends and results without leaving the platform.

An e-commerce client was running paid campaigns across Meta Ads and email marketing through Klaviyo, but had no way to see their performance together. Each platform showed its own numbers in its own interface. They needed a single, daily view combining their marketing data so they could act on it immediately — not the following week after an export.

An American bar needed a better system to record and report nightly sales, tips and expenses.
